Thank you to everybody who popped by the Holiday Love Local Fest last weekend. It was amazing to meet so many new people, catch up with others, and spread our mission throughout the community! Our first public debut as a small business was an incredible experience and we are beyond excited to use the profits to fund projects for the upcoming winter and spring breaks. Be sure to stay tuned over the winter for upcoming projects and blog posts. Our goal is to promote environmental literacy and raise awareness specifically by targeting the youth and starting in the school districts. We spoke with a handful of teachers and other educators about potentially working with their classes and afterschool programs on environmental science related projects or activities. If you are interested in being one of these classes, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if we can arrange something.
The Live Love Local Fest helped us get our word out while learning more about you, our consumers and readers and what you are looking for from us. We will be adding more to our inventory and new products to our online shop soon. We are excited to share more sustainable lifestyle products with you all. On December 7, 2018 we will be one of many vendors at the Umass Holiday Market so if you’re a student here or in the area feel free to stop by and consider adding a locally made product to your holiday shopping list.
